The dashboard updates in real time — no need to refresh.
Dashboard overview
The top of the dashboard shows your three most-watched numbers for the selected time window:
These numbers update continuously as new events arrive. Use the live count to gauge the immediate impact of a launch, a social post, or a marketing send the moment it goes out.
Visitor trend chart
Below the key metrics sits the visitor trend chart — a time-series view of your traffic across the selected period. Each bar or point on the chart represents one time bucket (hour, day, or week, depending on your date range). To change what the chart displays:1
Select a date range
Use the date-range picker in the top-right corner to choose a preset window or define a custom range. The chart redraws immediately.
2
Hover for detail
Hover over any point on the chart to see exact pageview and unique-visitor counts for that time bucket in a tooltip.
3
Click a traffic source or page
When you filter by a referrer or a specific page (see the sections below), the trend chart updates to reflect only that filtered traffic — so you can visualise the growth of a single channel or piece of content over time.
Traffic sources
The Sources panel breaks down where your visitors came from:- Referrers — external sites that linked to you. Click any referrer to filter the entire dashboard to traffic arriving from that domain.
- UTM parameters — if your campaigns include
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content, orutm_termparameters, TinyTrack parses them automatically and surfaces them as filterable dimensions. - Direct traffic — visits with no referrer signal, typically from typed URLs, bookmarks, or link previews in messaging apps.
Top pages
The Pages panel lists the paths on your site ordered by pageview volume for the selected period. Use it to answer questions like:- Which blog posts are driving the most organic traffic right now?
- Is the new landing page getting traction?
- Which product pages have the highest engagement?
Page paths are recorded exactly as they appear in the browser URL, including query strings if you configure TinyTrack to capture them. Strip any query strings that contain sensitive or personal data before they reach TinyTrack.
Goals & funnels panel
The Goals panel gives you a quick read on your most important conversion events:- Each goal shows its total completions and conversion rate for the selected period.
- Funnel goals display a step-by-step breakdown so you can immediately see where visitors drop off.
- Click any goal name to open the detailed goal view with a historical trend and property breakdowns.
Switching date ranges
TinyTrack gives you several preset windows and a fully custom range picker:
Select a range from the picker in the top-right corner of the dashboard. The chart, all panels, and all conversion rates update simultaneously — there is no separate “apply” button to press.
All date ranges use UTC midnight as the day boundary. If your audience is concentrated in a specific timezone, keep this in mind when comparing “today” figures against your own internal reporting.
